Tel Hai Retirement Community’s Life Enrichment Committee invites the public to attend ‘Astral Harp’s Star of Bethlehem’ on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 7:30 PM in the StoneCroft Center for Worship & Performing Arts on the campus of Tel Hai. This event is free and open to the public.
Astral Harp’s Star of Bethlehem program by Kevin & Janet Witman is a visual and musical journey into the astronomical wonder that occurred in the night sky over Bethlehem during the time of Christ. Kevin presents a light lecture with stunning astrophotography while harpist Janet performs her arrangements of Christmas carols. The presentation is unique, beautiful and inspiring for all ages.
Kevin is a planetarium operator/lecturer at the North Museum in Lancaster, PA. His astrophoto-graphy has been seen on BBC’s “Sky at Night,” MSNBC and Space Weather websites. Janet is a nationally awarded harpist whose playing has been described as “poetry in motion.” She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, principal harpist with two professional orchestras, and directs the Brandywine Harp Orchestra.
