Tel Hai Retirement Community invites the public to a Tel Hai Concert Series performance by The Wheatland Chorale on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 8:00 PM in the community’s StoneCroft Center for Worship & Performing Arts, located at 4000 Tree Line Drive in Honey Brook. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
Escape from the ordinary with a performance by The Wheatland Chorale known throughout the region for its “shimmering” sound. With new artistic director, Eric R. Riley, the 46 singers of the chorale create a huge variety of color and texture, from thundering fortissimos to whisper quiet pianissimos; from the clear, lean voice-leading of Renaissance polyphony to the thick, tight harmonies of modern choral textures.
